The meeting emphasized that during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the overall idea and main objective of Agricultural Mechanization Development in China is to fully implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee, adhere to the goal-oriented and problem-oriented, and, in light of the requirements of modern agricultural construction, focus on short-board links and weak areas, and focus on strengthening innovation, coordination, green and opening-up. The meeting pointed out that we should vigorously promote the scientific and technological innovation of agricultural mechanization, seize the historical opportunity of accelerating agricultural modernization and implementing the "Made in China 2025" plan, make great efforts in both the government and the market, develop, manufacture and popularize the use of two fields, and strive to change the shortage of grain crop production equipment and economic crops and regulations as soon as possible.
