In view of the current situation of grain drying equipment in China and the market demand in rural areas, experts believe that the development of grain drying equipment in China will show the following trends:
(1) The production capacity of grain dryer should be developed to large-scale. In the future, it is necessary to develop equipment with processing capacity of 20-30 tons per hour.
(2) Designing equipment to reduce high moisture cereals to safety standards at one time requires a reduction of more than 10%. For this reason, there are two ways: one is to adopt combined drying method, that is, to synthesize a new drying process by drying units with two or more drying methods, such as preheating wet cereals with high temperature and rapid fluidization dryer, and then using rotary drum. The dryer dries at a lower temperature. From the current development of grain drying technology in the world, this is a trend. The second is to design a high-efficiency grain dryer.
(3) Advanced measurement and control technology is applied to realize the development of drying process towards automation or semi-automation.
(4) can rapidly process large quantities of high moisture cereals at high temperature.
(5) Research on indirect energy-saving dryer with high efficiency is still the main direction. At the same time, we should explore new energy dryer, such as microwave energy, solar energy and so on.
(6) Rural grain dryers should be developed in the direction of small size and multi-function, which requires easy movement, simple operation, low investment and guaranteed grain drying quality.
